Spec Det. Unit
US C-SOG has a special detachment that is the first real world corrections special operations deployable unit. This unit is US C-SOG’s fully operational tier 1 unit. SDU is fully armed, equipment and deployable unit that conducts specialized operations for US C-SOG Clients.
Responsibilities include:
- International Theater of Operations Training
- Handling of Specialized Client Projects
- Real World Deployable Unit
- Tier 1 and Tier 2 Training Operations
- US Specialized Training Unit
- SDU Real World Response
- Correctional Hostage Rescue Operations
- Major Riot Operations
- HIC - High Intensity Conflict Operations
- High Risk Inmate Transport Operations (Inmate Classification levels OTK, STG, IWP)
This unit is a classified operational unit that has been cleared to conduct classified operations for its clients. SDU’s complete operations are strictly classified. This unit uses state of the art equipment, custom weaponry systems and has a separate logistical support unit within the US C-SOG organization.
SDU has worked not only with corrections special operations units but also military, and police SWAT units on a number of projects. SDU is our most experienced unit within our organization due to the skill sets that are required by our government clients.
